Very crafty of the President to time his #SCOTUS nomination for today at 11 when the Metro system is shut down. Fortunately, the VRE into Union Station is running on schedule. I expected it to be packed, but picking it up from Alexandria, there are plenty of empty seats. I will be hanging out at Cato today, waiting for the nomination to drop.
