On Thursday,  Nov. 12 at 11:30, Neil Eggleston, who is an Assistant to President Obama, and White House Counsel, will address the Federalist Society National Lawyers Convention. Granted, the schedule is “subject to change,” but this would be a very significant appearance. To my recollection, this is the first time an address has been given to such a prominent a member of a Democratic administration–although the Society always offers ideological balance on panels. 

Eggleston is mentioned in many places in Charlie Savage’s new book–including over the internal debates concerning DAPA–so I will be quite eager to hear what he has to say.
