Based on my article of the same title in the Tennessee Law Review, here are the slides of my talk on the 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment, and 3D-Printed Guns. I will be giving this talk at a number of schools across the country this year. In short, I argue that bans on 3D printed guns have problems not only under the 2nd Amendment, but also under the 1st Amendment, as these constitute prior restraints on speech.
