I took my property and constitutional law classes to the Houston Museum of Natural Science to see a rare original copy of Magna Carta from 1217. This was a shorter version than the one King John sealed at Runnymede in 1215. It has several key provisions removed, including the council of 25 barons who could exercise dominion over the king.
