ABA Journal Goes Buzzfeed with Clickbait Headlines

October 31st, 2013

I previously noted that the National Law Journal did a listicle. Now the ABA Journal has gotten in on the act, and gone Buzzfeed with  Clickbait headlines:

  • Another same-sex couple is married at the US Supreme Court; who officiated? (It was Justice O’Connor. I would think that significant fact for lawyers would be right in the headline, not buried inside)
  • Are these courthouses haunted? See why these employees think so (gallery)?
  • Do you take your pet to work? Would you if it were possible?
  • Is Red Sox team in legal trouble for ‘beardism-infringing activities’?

As usual, XKCD gets it right.
