Con-Ed Restored Electricity To My Aunt’s House in Brooklyn

November 22nd, 2012

Only for a bribe of $200. Happy Thanksgiving in New York City.

Update: My aunt’s house has been without power for 3 weeks. Last night, my aunt saw a Con-Ed worker on the block. She asked him why some houses on the block had power, but others did not. He said that my aunt was not on the list. My aunt asked, how can I get on the list. He said, a few hundred dollars will get you on the list. My aunt said if I pay you today, when will you fix the power. He said, maybe tomorrow. My aunt said, I’ll give you $200 now and you’ll fix it tonight. A few hours later, the power was turned on.
