Impromptu Constitution Day Lesson

September 17th, 2012

The spirit of the holiday (and not some likely-unconstitutional-funded-mandate) moved me to give a brief lesson about the Constitution, and the Amendments, to my class today. Totally unplanned too. Turn to about 0:45.

Though mea culpa, I said the Articles of Confederation was ratified in 1783 (it was 1781) and I accidentally said there were 26 amendments, but corrected myself later. I was not planning on going through this until a student said “Articles of Consideration” and I felt the need to do so 🙂
