In honor of the Olympics, the City of London hung the Olympic Rings from Tower Bridge over the River Thames. My English friend told me it was “garish.” Anyway, I liked it.

One photographer timed it just right, and captured the full moon forming the sixth olympic ring. Very nice.

And in case you were curious, no that is not London Bridge, as I got yelled at by the snarky British tour guide for asking (pic from my trip there in June).
