The Worst Primary Predictions–Or Why No One Should Ever Listen to Pundits, Ever

April 26th, 2012

I would say pundits shouldn’t making predictions, but that’s impossible. Their entire vocation is premised on making predictions on which they have no idea. Rather, if we stop listening to them, the market will dry up, and the pundits will shrivel up like the Wicked Witch of the West.

Anyway, Salon (via OTB) links to some of the biggest blunders–picking Bachman, GIngrich, and others to wrap up the nomination. It is always fun to make fun of experts in hindsight. I rather do it with foresight. They’re wrong. Ignore them. Stay far away from anyone who makes predictions. And rest assured, these schmucks who made these bad predictions will goa head and make bad predictions in the general election, and all future elections.
