Unlike Raymond, I doubt everyone loves robots–or, at least until they realize that their profession can be replaced by one. I’ve read that artificial intelligence is soon to be relied on to supply nurses for an aging population. Will robot-nurses, be subject to the same occupational licensing schemes as regular nurses? Will human nurses object to their jobs being replaced? Will there be rent seeking and capture of the boards that license nurses? Will nurses love robots?
