Police Shut Down Girls’ Lemonade Stand

July 15th, 2011

Apparently the girls needed a “business license, peddler’s permit and food permit to operate, even on residential property. The permits cost $50 a day or $180 per year.”

According to Midway, Georgia Police Chief, he “didn’t know how the lemonade was made, who made it or what was in it.” Let me venture a guess. First, It was probably made with lemons and water and sugar, maybe some powder. Second, the little girls made it (maybe their parents helped). Third, well that seems to be a repeat of question number one, but I’m guessing lemons, sugar, water, and maybe some powder.
