George Mason Civil Rights Law Journal Offering Expedited Summer Reviews

July 14th, 2011

One of my colleagues at the George Mason Civil RIghts Law Journal asked me to pass along this notice:

The GMU Civil Rights Law Journal will be conducting expedited summer article reviews now through the end of August. Any article submitted during this review period will be reviewed within 10 days of receipt. Articles accepted through this review would be published in Volume 22.1, 22.2, or 22.3, which will be published throughout the upcoming school year. Please note that we only accept civil rights related articles (we are flexible with this definition) that are based in solid legal analysis. Submitters must have JD. Our page limit is 25-100 pages.

If you have an article you would like to submit, please e-mail an attached copy of the article and your CV to [email protected] with the subject line “Expedited Summer Article Review.” We look forward to reading your work.

I published with the CRLJ a few years ago, and had a great experience. If you have a piece that touches on Civil Rights law, you should definitely take advantage of this opportunity and consider submitting. A 10-day turnaround time is extremely fast.
