LeBron James, a/k/a @KingJames, made some waves yesterday when he tweeted this following a Cleveland Cavs blowout loss.

James is now distancing himself from this tweet, claiming that “”It wasn’t even a comment from me, it was someone who sent it to me and I sent it out.”

ESPN doubts this claim, noting “The entry on James’ Twitter account did not indicate it was a re-tweet from another user.”

So is this a LBJ tweet fail?

On James’ twitter page there are a number of Retweets (or RTs for us cool kids). See e.g.,
