It is widely rumored that Frank Lloyd Wright was the architectural inspiration for Howard Roark, the iconic architect who refused to compromise his principles. Roark was the protagonist in Ayn Rand’s opus The Fountainhead. Today, I took a trip to Falling Water, a home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in Western Pennsylvania. It was stunning. And, as an homage to Rand, I brought my copy of The Fountainhead along. The house was quite amazing. I can see how Rand was inspired by his work.
