The Reception of a Law Review Article v. a Popular Press Book

December 4th, 2009

Very funny clip H/T TaxProfBlog, of Professor Jay Wexlar compares the impact of his article, Preparing for the Clothed Public Square: Teaching About Religion, Civic Education, and the Constitution, 43 Wm. & Mary L. Rev. 1159 (2002), with the popular press book, Religious Literacy: What Every American Needs to Know–And Doesn’t written by Professor Stephen Prothero (Harper, 2007). I tend to prefer law review articles over popular press books. They take less time to publish and are usually more timely, and are geared towards the legal nerd in me.
