Last night I had a dream that I somehow managed to work out a book signing for Unprecedented where Justice Thomas would speak. I recall emailing him, and he said sure (if only it were so easy). I was then fighting with my publishers, because they only wanted to make 140 books available (that was how many they had ordered for the month) but I insisted we could sell more. The event was to be held in Room 121 at George Mason Law School, but it was much bigger. And when I got there, I was confused because Justice Thomas was selling copies of “My Grandfather’s Son” (it had a different tile, something about the Constitution, but that was the book). I don’t remember what happened afterwards.
