It pains me to type this, it really does.

Since my first blog post on September 27, 2009, I have propounded 2,432 blog posts of over 930,000 words (that’s almost as much as Atlas Shrugged and War & Peace combined). I have received over 360,00 hits (that’s more than the population of New Orleans!). I have met so many awesome people through my blog. My blog milestones are among my proudest accomplishments.

Yet, for a period of one year, starting on Monday, August 15, 2011, my blog will be on hiatus. Don’t worry. FantasySCOTUS will continue, as will all of the activities of The Harlan Institute. I am so fortunate to work with such a great group of people, who can continue in my absence. However, this blog, will not be updated.

I’ll post a more appropriate farewell prior to that date, but consider this your notice.
