Since I launched my blog in September 2009, I have authored 9,000 blog posts. My rate has been roughly constant at 1,500 posts per year (125 blog posts per month, about 4 per day), although it has been (deliberately) decreased in the past year. I still can’t quite believe how far this blog has taken me, and all that I’ve written. For Unraveled, I went back and looked at all of my Obamacare-related posts from 2013-present. I wrote about nearly every aspect of the law in real time, so putting this book together is much, much easier than the last one. At this rate, I should hit 10,000 by the end of the October 2015 Supreme Court term.
Here are my milestones:
- 1,500 posts on 1/19/2011.
- 2,000 posts on 5/10/2011
- 3,000 posts on 11/14/2011
- 3,500 posts on 2/1/2012
- 4,000 posts on 4/13/2012
- 4,500 posts on 7/27/2012
- 5,000 posts on 12/19/2012
- 7,000 posts on 1/21/14 (I forgot to note this one and 6,000)
