Of course this is all mere speculation.
From the October sitting, Fisher is the only outstanding opinion, and Kennedy is the only Justice not to author an opinion. This is likely AMK’s.
From the December sitting, only Vance remains. Neither Alito nor Scalia have written from that term so either may have it. Scalia has a total of 7 opinions authored so far, while Alito has only 4. Nino probably has one more in April), so it is likely Alito.
From the January sitting, only Koontz is outstanding. Because Kagan wrote Descamps from that sitting, Koontz likely belongs to Alito.
Because Scalia authored AmEx, there is only one outstanding opinion from February–Shelby County. And the Chief is the only Justice who hasn’t authored yet. So, it’s a good guess that the Chief has Shelby County.
From the March sitting, outstanding are Perry, Windsor, and Mutual. Roberts, Kennedy, and Alito have not yet written for that term. I’m guessing Alito gets Mutual, the Chief gets Windsor, and Kennedy gets Perry.
From April, outstanding are Baby Girl, Kebeodeaux, Sekhar, and UT S.W. Scalia, Kennedy, and Breyer haven’t written yet for that sitting. Ginsburg and Sotomayor wrote twice. I have no speculation who gets which opinion.
