The other day I was going to get lunch with my co-clerks and I saw this cool robotic sculpture, called the Louisville Clock. It is a horse race between Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson County is named after him), King Louis XVI (Louisville is named after him)–I can’t imagine more polar opposites that Louis XVI and Jefferson, and others.

NPR was recording audio. If you listen carefully at 1:20, you can hear me cheering Jefferson (“Go Tom!”) and booing Louis. And, to no one’s surprise, the father of our Declaration of Independence not only pursued happiness, but also the lead, as he won the race.

NPR interviewed me, but they didn’t write it up.

Seriously, all things considered, what kind of intelligent person would actually listen to NPR. Sheesh. Wait, wait don’t tell me–her name begins with an M.
